Jesús Bolaño Quintero, profesor ayudante doctor del área de Filología Inglesa y miembro del grupo HUM-536, ha recibido el Premio de reconocimiento a la excelencia investigadora de la Universidad de Cádiz. Sus compañerxs del grupo de investigación se felicitan por esta buena noticia y por este merecido premio a su trayectoria como estudioso de la ficción postmoderna y de los Estudios culturales en el ámbito norteamericano. Sobre estos temas ha publicado en prestigiosas revistas: Oceánide, The Grove: Working papers on English studies, Complutense Journal of English Studies, Journal of English Studies, Odisea: Revista de estudios ingleses, entre otras.

Jesús Bolaño is an Assistant Professor at the English Department of the University of Cadiz. He has taught at the International University of La Rioja (Master's Degree in Secondary Education) and at the University of Murcia. His research focuses on the role of transcendentalism in post-postmodern fiction.
He holds a degree (BA) in English Philology (University of Cádiz), a degree (BA) in Translation and Interpreting - English, German and Spanish - (University of Granada) and a Master's Degree (MA) in Digital Humanities (Information Technology for the Digital Society: Humanities and Science).
He also holds tenure (Funcionario de carrera) at the Official School of Languages (Regional Government of Andalusia), where he was head of the English Department, and is currently on leave of absence.
